My Yahoo, custom RSS feeds right in your browser
For a while now I’ve been searching for a good app for RSS feeds. I’ve been mostly frusterated by the programs I’ve tried. They’ve either been poorly structured or just to complicated to use. When I logged into my.yahoo.com page recently I noticed a new feature they’ve added to their list of things you can customize under your account. They already gave you a great assortment of things to put on your Yahoo! home page such as tv listings, Local weather, news, etc. Now you can also put your own selection of RSS feeds and blogs on your my yahoo! page. Everytime you log onto your page you get the titles and optionally - the first few lines of the latest postings from your favorite feeds. It works very well and you can also customize the order of the blogs and its really… Dear I say it - quite efficient. It’s also addictive. I’ve made it my home page and I go back to it and check it all the time. It’s a shame I don’t use my Yahoo email account, because I love this setup. Oh and yeah, did I mention that it’s free! They charge for some extras but you probaly won’t need them
