So I got the Sidekick II, it’s pretty cool. Really I could’ve lived with the Sidekick I. The improvements aren’t that significant. I’ve always had good RF reception with the original one, and the battery life didn’t bother me, nor did the lack of a built-in camera.  Is it worth getting? If you’re going to use the SKII as a phone as well then it’s definately worth it for it’s Speakerphone feature. I have a separate phone for my voice calls – a Nokia 6230, so I’m never going to end up using the speakerphone feature. Well anyway hopefully it’ll hold me over till I can get a XDA III. Rumor is that Cingular will be selling XDA III’s/Siemens SX66 and supposedly it’ll be significantly cheaper then Expansys’s price of $899. If you are willing to shell out that much cash for it now, Expansys just got them in stock today. From the few user reviews I’ve found everyone seems to love the XDA III (AKA MDA III, AKA PDA2K, AKA Siemens SX66) and it seems to be way superior to the HP 6315.
