2 weeks ago I downloaded Firefox, a free Internet browser. I haven’t gone back to Internet explorer since then. Sites load up much faster than they do in Microsoft Internet explorer 6.0 and I love the tabbed interface that Firefox sports. I’ve used Netscape and Opera in the past, they both have tabbed interfaces as well, and i thought they were ok but somehow i always fell back to using I.E. 6.0. Well it seems that I’m not the only person that Firefox has won over
ZdNet India reports that Firefox has had 25 million downloads in the past 100 days. I hope Microsoft is taking note of this because they finally have a substantial threat. Molly Wood over at Cnet.com says that Microsoft just announced that their going to be releasing IE 7.0 before they release their next operating system. Hurry up Bill, before its too late! Meanwhile if you haven’t tried Firefox, go download it.
