The Nokia 6230 is an excellent phone. I used it for about 10 months till I
replaced it with the Motorola
MPX220. The Nokia 6230 series uses the Series 40 OS which probably is the
simplest and fastest OS on any cell phone. In my experience the Nokia 6230 was a
pleasure to operate. Last year when it was released it was ahead of it’s time
with features such as an Mp3 player plus memory card expansion, and a video
player. The 6230 was successful enough for Nokia to update it and create the
Nokia 6230i. According to the 6230i’s specs at Infosyncworld the new
6230i will have a better display, a better camera, and Edge. No dramatic changes
here, but improving the display is significant. If only they’d make the display
bigger I’d consider switching to the 6230i when it comes out. The Motorola
Mpx220 is definitely cool and very resourceful but sometimes I miss the
simplicity of the 6230i and it’s awesome speakerphone.
