Dell Latitude X1 Ultraportable Laptop Mini Review

NoteBookReview.com has a review and some good pictures of the new Dell Latitude X1. There is a comparison shot of the X1 next to the Fujitsu p7000 series so you can get an idea of just how small the X1 is. The review also talks about its good features and performance.

I have the X1… it is light and mostly nice. There are a few gripes:

    1. No PC Card/PCMCIA slot!? With the growing popularity of cell cards for highly mobile people, what were they thinking… ditch the stupid photo card slots for a PC Card slot!

    2. Terrible touchpad design. There is no ledge between touchpad or either button.. difficult to tell where you are by touch. Personally,

I think the x300 was a better overall design. It was slightly heavier, but weight was well-distributed and hardware design was better.
