JVC has updated their Mini Note laptop line. Unfortunately there aren’t many
significant upgrades to it compared to the previous Mini Note. However the
laptop does look a little better with its new silver cover. Also, this model follows in it’s predecessor’s
footsteps with a paltry 8.9 inch screen. When the mini note
first came out it was extra special being that it had a dvd/cdrw drive and
weighed just 3.24 lbs. But nowadays if you’re looking for an ultra portable
laptop with a built in optical drive then you’re probably better off going with
the Sharp Actius MP30 or the Fujitsu p7010 which both have bigger and better
screens, weigh less, and have more aesthetically pleasing designs.
