Panasonic has had it’s line of Dsnap All-in-One digital Cameras around for a
couple of years now. Unfortunately until now their success with the Dsnap line
wasn’t too big because none of the features worked very well. Their
latest model, the SVAS3, is the first Dsnap to get rave reviews. T3 Magazine
gave it 5 Stars. They claim that it’s Mp3 player navigation system is almost
snappier then the ipod, the 3 megapixel pictures that come out of it are pretty
good, and that the video recording and playback features are pretty good as
well. The 40 hours battery life doesn’t sound to bad either. This little wonder
weighs only 77 grams, has a 1.5 inch TFD LCD Display, supports Mpeg-4 movies,
Jpegs, Mp3, WMA, and AAC music files, and runs on Secure Digital Memory
cards. The SVAS3 also comes with a neat set of headphones that has a remote with
navigational controls. This little gadget really is a must-have. Unfortunately
it’s not available in the U.S. yet, but in the U.K. it’s selling for an
affordable £149.99 ( $265 USD).
