I’ve never associated Verizon Wireless’s marketing with anything feminine. Not that they don’t want women to purchase their wireless products and services, I just never noticed any aggressive marketing towards a female audience on their part. Which is why I was kinda surprised to see ladies’ cell phone accessories sealed in Verizon Branded packaging at Circuit City. Verizon Wireless’s Online store, and Circuit City are currently selling Phonepocket Holders for women that come in four designs: Green Hearts, Orange/Pink Daisy,Yellow Argyle, and Blue/White Checks with a butterfly. These phone holders are inexpensive and range from $7.97 to $12.99. While I didn’t expect to find Verizon selling cellular accessories for women, I’m all for it, especially when their affordable – which is something Verizon doesn’t do very often. I hope other cellular providers copy Verizon and start selling cellular accessories as well that are "female-friendly" – in other words, accessories that aren’t all bland, and typical.
