You might recognize the stylish and slim Canon PowerShot SD20 from LindsayLohan’s music video for her single "Rumors." Well here comes the Canon Powershot
SD30, the replacement for the popular SD20. The SD30 sports a new design and
comes in 4 new vibrant colors; Rockstar Red, Tuxedo Black, Glamour Gold, and
Vivacious Violet. A big complaint about the SD20 was its lack of optical zoom.
The SD30 improves on the SD20 with a 2.4x optical zoom
and 1.8 inch LCD screen as opposed to
the SD20’s 1.5 inch screen. Unfortunately, the megapixel count
stillremains at the same 5.0 megapixels, however that really is adequate for most. Also, the SD30 includes a new accessory - a fashionable cradle with a wireless remote for playback, charging and
printing. Canon’s site says it’ll be available in September. I lost My SD10 last
week, so I ordered the SD20 today, and just a few hours later I learned about
the upcoming SD30. There’s just no keeping up with technology.
