With every new ipod product there are countless imitations, does LuxPro ring a bell? Anyway, this latest Nano-ripoff has the potential to wipe the floor with the real thing. The ÂÂÂÂi-Bob looks almost identical to the Nano but it has a bunch of features to hold over the Nano – it plays Video on its 1.5 inch OLED screen, supports wav, wma, mp3, mp4, and asf files, has radio recording, dual earphone ports, an e-book reader, and a photo album viewer. The only aspect that causes this imitation to fall short is that its biggest capacity is 1 gig. It’s currently retailing on Ebay Australia for a dirt cheap $160 which is about $119 USD. Here is a link to a video of the i-Bob in action. The smaller capacity issue, I can handle for this price, but the name "i-Bob" is a bit much – really, what were they thinking! Can anyone get their hands on one of these to let us know whether this is junk, or just a real steal? (Source: Thanks to Sandy!)
