G439 A round of applause for Nancy-Lang Feldman of Computer Shopper Magazine who did some research and created a list of the big shopping site’s phone numbers for her “Consumer Alert” column. I love shopping on Amazon.com, but have you ever tried finding their phone number? Good Luck!

    Yeah, seriously, THANKS A MILLION. Calling half.com was almost a pleasure after I found the number on here. Much easier than trying to fix everything myself and quick response time (probably because the number is so hidden).

    i recently ordered 3 dvd,s from amazon the total was 21.99 and
    20.47 and i got charged 2.98 for the 21.99 order and 9.97 for the
    20.47 for shipping. grand total of 55.41 all thru the ordering process i was quoted free shipping but when i got my copy of the
    order i was charged 12.95 for shipping. when i clicked on my
    account it locked up my computer so after spending about an hour
    trying to get the phone number from amazon’s site i typed in amazon . com phone numbers. thank you so very much i am quite
    angry and intend to let amazon know about it. again thanks much.

    Still waiting for email response to issue, this number worked great. Should it really take days what a 30 second phone call did. Customer service is great as long as you don’t need it.

    WOW!!! Thanks!!!! Waiting for an email response from Half.com for over a week but got my issue resolved in three minutes with the phone number!!! Thank you so much! Even the ebay chat people said they didn’t have a phone number to call Half.

    OMG! I was about to lose my head with Half.com…….thank you thank you thank you! I was connected to a rep in less than 3 minutes and my problem was resolved within 5!!!

    I guess they caught on that someone knows their phone number. I called them and have been waiting for almost 3 hours now. I think I will hang up once it is 5 PM in California…

    I’ve been on hold with half.com for 90 minutes now. It’s 4:15 and I assume I won’t get to speak to anyone before 5pm. I am NEVER doing business with these f*cks again. I sold a book for $75, had trouble setting up the “seller payment”, sent the book to the buyer anyway after sending an email to their helpdesk. Waited 5 days, sent another email. It’s been a week since the second email and I finally am getting around to spending the afternoon on hold.

    I cannot express the anger. This is disgusting.

    Y DOES HALF.COM HIDE THEIR PHONE NUMBER OMG!!!!!!!!! AND THEIR HELPDESK IS SO UNHELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for half.com’s phone number. They are TOTALLY customer UNFRIENDLY. Is it MY FAULT that their system malfunctioned with multiple book orders? I sent an e-mail to them at service@half.com on the 18th and still haven’t heard back from them. Its nice to have another way to “attempt” to communicate with them.

    I never purchase anything from half.com and saw on bank account online that yesterday my debit card was charged by them. I have since disputed through my bank and cancelled the card as well as notified the credit bureause, but has anyone else had this happen?
