CES 2006: Asus S6F Ultraportable Laptop with Pink Crocodile Leather Styling

Tonight at C.E.S.’s Unveiled press preview event, a couple of companies showed off some of the products that they will be showcasing at C.E.S. tomorrow. Asus is recognized for making some beautifully designed laptops – the W3v and W6v to name a few, but one of their latest laptops completely blew us away. The upcoming Asus S6F has pink crocodile leather covering the top of the laptop and the wrist area inside. The laptop looks classy, feminine, and hip. The S6F has a 11.1 inch ultra-bright widescreen display, and features centrino mobile technology duo (not sure quite what chip that is referring to, is that the new dual core technology?). The weight of the laptop is somewhere between 3 and 4 pounds. We couldn’t get an exact weight because the model on display was a prototype. However, the Asus representative confirmed that the S6F should be on sale during Q1 2006, unfortunately it will be sold in limited release via a partnership with Prada – which means its price will probably be sky high.
