Talk about thieves running out of items to steal… this winter thieves cut down and carted away 136 street lights in Baltimore, Maryland. As a result, the city decided that the city’s surveillance cameras needed to be suped up. Five $5,000 solar-powered digital surveillance cameras were purchased. These new cams shout when they sense motion nearby, "Stop! We have just taken your photograph. We will use this photograph to prosecute you. Leave the area now!" Yes, so beware of the street lights from now on, lest you be Punk’d. (Source: Wired Magazine, March 2006)
