Custom Colored iPod Nanos with X2 Scratch Resistant Coating

Jandripodnanos
J and R has a selection of five 2GB iPod Nanos that they have painted with custom colors using special X2 Scratch Resistant Liquid Plastic Coating. There is a blue body version with a black wheel, a blue body version with a gray center, a blue body version with a red center button, a gray body version with a blue wheel, and our favorite - a jet black black body version with a blue wheel. They Each retail for $265, which means you are spending an extra $65 over the regular price of an iPod Nano. But if you’re buying a Nano, you’ll probably end up spending $30+ on a case and protectors anyway, so this is actually a pretty smart deal. Of course this begs the question of why couldn’t Apple make the Nano with X2 coating to begin with?

Do the masterminds here at Chipchick know if they do just the coating, too? Like, can I send my 4GB Nano away and get a coating on it? Because that would be AWESOME!
