Once in a while we come across free software that is so good, it is hard to
believe that it is freeware. iSquint, an iPod video converter for Mac, is one
of those amazing freebie programs. Don’t let its non-existant price tag fool
you, iSquint works much faster then QuickTime Pro as well as many other iPod
video convertor software programs that we have tried. It futher one-ups Quick Time Pro
by being able to convert DIVX/Xvid AVIs, and all forms of MPEG video. And it does
batch processing of multiple files, and supports most popular formats including
.mov .mp4 .avi .dv .mpg .vob .3gp .asf .wmv .flv and .m4v. Last but not
least, it is also very simple to use. Our only complaint is that they
currently don’t make a Windows version of iSquint, but we shant complain much
more since it is free.
