The service does exactly the same as ScanR with the added bonus of doing it all from your mobile phone handset. The image seems to be sharper as well. It's ideal for when you're on the move and need to fax or send an important document. You can send scans directly to email addresses (no need for a PC) and it even lets you convert pictures taken on a camera phone into .pdf - pretty cool.
