The Clear One Chat 50 is a USB device that kills two birds with one
stone… or rather, it can serve a few purposes. Firstly, it is a USB
speakerphone that can be used with Skype and other VOIP software. And it has full-duplex operation,
which means you can simletaneously speak to and hear the person on the other end
of the conversation. The resulting quality produces a speakerphone that doesn’t sound
like a typical speakerphone. Also, the Clear One Chat 50 has a mini DIN headphone jack which lets you connect
your cell phone, PDA, or even your MP3 player so that you can listen to music
off of it. PC Magazine reviewed the Clear One Chat 50 and gave it a really good 4.5
out of 5 star rating. Unfortunately, this device is pretty pricey at $149.95.

I wonder if the guys from Skypestyle are going to stock this in the UK.

No doubt I’ll be able to pick it up shortly from them – they sell everything else to do with Skype and more USB phones than I though exisited!
