Google have launched their own web-based alternative for Powerpoint now too. Internet based presentation solutions are all very well until you need to make last minute changes at an event or in the back of a cab as you arrive at your meeting....then you are really struggling!!! You are also reliant on a really good internet connection.

In the corporate world it is largely sales people making presentations and they easly get frustrated if they need to build online and download each time they make a presentation.

Although it certainly wasn't free, our organisation invested in a brilliant solution called www.presentiafx.com which works online or offline. Its help control our Corporate Brand ID and has really had an impact with the sales team. Definitely would recommend this for any company.
