Zoho Writer & Zoho Sheet, Free Web-Based Word & Excel Alternatives

Zohosheet2
Back in March we posted about some free online Word and Excel alternatives. We’ve discovered a great new one to add to the list. Zoho Sheet uses excel style forumulae, allows you to create and publish charts, and it also allows importing and exporting of excel stylesheets. Zoho Writer allows you to open up several documents at once, and you can export your document to PDF, DOC, or HTML files. And of course there is No installation required. Not to shabby for Free, eh?

    Hi,

Thanks for writing about Zoho. BTW, the screenshot seems to be from a different vendor (iRows).

    Regards,

Besides Google spreadsheets and your mentioned product, zoho sheet, there are various online spreadsheets working in different directions, includes EditGrid and Numbler which you may wish to put on the list. They incorporated reat-time-update which distinguishes themself from the others.

You may visit EditGrid_v._Google which shows a comparison between EditGrid and Google Spreadsheets.

Hi, I am Cliff from EditGrid. We have our new release in yesterday. In this release, we cannot get live stockquote and forex by our remote data function. Here is a demo stock portfolio valuation demo . Besides remote data, our API are now open, allowing you to build your own application using EditGrid.

Of course we would never forget our fundamentals, for spreadsheet functions, drag and fill is now available in this release.

Got something to say?
