The internet is a dangerous place, and I’m not referring to the scary
people or the scary sites that you can find online – I’m referring to trojan
horses and other nasty things that are lerking around the corner, waiting to
screw up your system. If I had a penny for every time I used someone’s computer
which didn’t have a firewall – well then I would have a lot of pennies. Until
now the only good and truly free firewall available was Zone Alarm which can be
very intimidating and confusing for the average user. Comodo Personal Firewall 2.0
is now free as well, so you have no excuse anymore (yeh you know who I’m talking
to). If you think that you don’t need one because you’re just a home user, and
not running a business – well you’re wrong. Maybe you would have been half right
with that method of thinking back in 1999, but not anymore. And in case your
still not convinced – PC Magazine gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Now run along and keep
your computer healthy.
