While reading through September 19th’s issue of PC Magazine, I began to notice how awful some of the ads inside of it were. Chip Chick may not
be a graphics design oriented blog, but I can’t help but share these atrocities.
It pains me to think that these advertisers spent thousands of dollars on ugly full page ads. Would anyone be interested in what their advertising? Personally, when I see a poorly designed advertisement, I mentally write the company off as shoddy.
Perhaps these companies were skimpy when it came to
paying a print design company to create their ad? Maybe they had their intern do the ad? Either way, these two ads are in need of an extreme makeover. And while we’re on the subject, has anyone else seen any bad ads lately?
