I have several different mini speakers – not for an ipod – but for listening to books on tape, CD, or the “Playaway” books. The Spi speakers are great – no static, clear audio, and the moveable plug (vs. the stationary ones) makes the unit more versatile with the different players. My two are nearly 2 years old and I’ve had no problems. Great gifts/stocking stuffers.
