If you have a passion for Gucci, Louis Vuitton and other similarly expensive bags, then Bag Borrow or Steal might be able to fuel your addiction without having to shell out too much. Instead of selling pricey bags – they will rent them to you because Bag Borrow or Steal’s motto is “Why Buy When You Can Borrow?” They have Chanel, Kooba, and Coach bags, just to name a few. They also have recently began offering jewelry rentals. Believe it or not, but we found another company named Shoulder Candy that is also offering designer bag rentals. Overall, this is a very interesting business scheme, I wonder if they are doing well. Would you rent a bag from them? In any case, this sure beats buying knock-offs from China Town.

I have used bbos and the other US site From Bags to Riches. frombagstoriches.com had way better customer response in my opinion. Plus I really hated the whole “wait list” thing at BBOS. When I rent a bag I want it now and when I call customer service I want an answer NOW…not in 2 DAYS!

I’ve checked out bagborroworsteal’s website and it’s such a great concept. But one thing I noticed was the extra shipping fees they add on each time you borrow…ouch. I’ve recently found http://www.imoveritonline.com which rents jewelry with no extra shipping.

I like frombagstoriches,too. Another great website seems to be http://www.blingyourself.com. Besides renting designer jewelry for women they even rent jewelry for men. One fact that I especially like is that you get bonus bling points that you can use for a future rental or free goodies.

I like blingyourself.com as well. My boyfriend & I have a membership there. I like the fact that they have certain pieces you can rent where 100% of the rental fee goes to the IRC, the charity that George Clooney & Oprah support.

DO NOT Borrow their Bags, THEY ARE SO AFRAID YOU MIGHT STEAL THEM SO THEY TAKE FROM YOU FIRST!!!!
Yes they do have a statement somewhere about a credit check but they are so desperate to get a sell that they Debited a sign on fee of $9.95 and $356.73, ran my credit,but forgot to notify me that they cancelled my account and i didnt find out until i could not logon. To the managing partners of BAGBARROWANDSTEAL the ladies will get this info and so all your contracts will eventually go away because letters are being sent out to these upscale designers who allow there products being listed on your site.
You guys are just like the lose weight quick diet sites…Just STOPIT, oh i have a screen shot of your charges which all you had to do was to run the credit when membership is paid!! I know its a recession but DAMN how could you.
