Getting your site indexed in Google greatly helps if you have a sitemap to
submit to Google. Unfortunately, Google’s instructions on how to make a sitemap
are so complicated that they will probably discourage most, and they certainly
discouraged us. That is why we were relieved to discover XML-Sitemaps Sitemap Generator that does
most of the dirty work for you. Once they have generated the XML sitemap, all
you have to do is upload it to your server and presto, you’re ready to submit
your sitemap to Google using Google’s Webmaster tools. And the icing on the
cake is that the service is free.
