We all get our RSS feeds in one form or another – My Yahoo, NetVibes, Firefox, Feedburner, etc. Overall, there are a ton of choices for getting your news off of the web, but Newsmap has to be the coolest way to visually spot news stories. "Newsmap is an application that visually reflects the constantly changing
landscape of the Google News news aggregator. A treemap
visualization algorithm helps display the enormous amount of information
gathered by the aggregator." Yes, it does all that, but we love it mostly because it’s just plain pretty and easy on the eye. If only we could customize it to display our own choice of feeds, it would be our News Reader of choice.
