ITVN Aims to be a Cheap Cable TV Alternative

ITVN offers standard definition on demand TV via a small set-top box and a speedy net connection. We like that you can pick and choose what you want a la carte, so that prices start as low as $9.95 a month. Unfortunately their selection is very limited. Starz and Encore movies for $14.95 a month just isn’t grabbing our attention for the moment. However, karaoke enthusiasts might like ITVN’s unlimited access to karaoke videos on demand for $9.95 a month. Overall, if eventually ITVN can get some bigger players involved, it might one day make a great cheap alternative to Cable. (Source: PC Magazine, December 05, 2006)
