Sandisk’s Sansa Xpress iPod Shuffle Killer

Sandisk’s upcoming Sansa Xpress is a lot like what we would have imagined the 2G shuffle to have been. It’s got a direct USB connector, a four line bright OLED screen, an FM tuner, a built-in mic for voice recording, and 1GB of memory with a microSD slot for expansion. With its shiny black chassis and a $59.99 retail price, a 15 hour battery life, and support for MP3 and protected WMA files, it looks like the Sansa Xpress is going to give the current Shuffle a run for the money. And with the right marketing, these should fly right off of the shelves.

1GB with Mini SD expansion, an FM tuner, and a killer entry price of $60. What’s not to like? At twenty dollars less than the Ipod the Sansa Xpress is a no brainer. This should be an instant purchase for Fathers Day and Graduation presents.
