STOP Security Plate Helps Recover Your Stolen Laptop

A while ago we posted about TrackItBack labels designed to help recover your lost gadgets. Like TrackItBack, The STOP Security Plate aims to bring your lost gadget back home to you, in this case your laptop. The STOP Security Plate is a permanent bar coded security plate that sticks to your laptop. The adhesive is so strong that the removal of the plate physically alters the surface of your laptop while revealing a tattoo saying “Stolen Property 1-800-488-STOP”. The idea behind the plate is that most stolen laptops end up getting sold and that whomever ends up with the laptop will hopefully notice the STOP Plate or its tattoo and call the 800 number.
