HowsMyNanny.com is a service that provides license plates for strollers. Each plate has a unique identification number so that if your nanny is out and about with your child and misbehaves, a passerby can notify the parent online via HowsMyNanny.com. Likewise, if a passerby notices that a nanny is doing something praiseworthy with your child, they are encouraged to use HowsMyNanny.com to notify the parent about the Nanny’s exemplary care. This project was started by Jill Starishevsky, a woman who is a mother as well as a child abuse and sex crimes prosecutor in New York City. There is no doubt that she is aware of the gamut of unfortunate things that can happen when a parent is not around. Kudos to her for taking an extra step to help protect our children.
