I've been a Voce subscriber since almost day one, and like others originally I couldn't stop praising voce as a company with top-notch concierge service that put my Amex concierge in second place.

Sadly, the past few months, it seems as if the quality has deteriorated dramatically, and I've reverted back to using my Amex concierge and switched to the 118 a month plan.

I hope they can turn it around, I really loved the company but with the quality deterioration, long hold times for service and new and at some times completely rude staff, I really don't see the value any more

I have had VOCE for many months. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the service. More so I will not ever switch carriers again as long as this service is around. I have unlimited calling and texting, 411, airport assistance, have had 3 phones replaced on the satisfaction warranty, have had a new sim card fed-ex morning delived to me, was given $100 for answering a survey, use the concierge service DAILY to do everything from finding me chocolate to reading me the morning headlines, from finding the cheapest rental cars, motels or services to reading poems to my girlfriends over the phone. I'm just sorry but the comments knocking VOCE are rediculous, obviously unfounded, and suspisiously pointing to competitor offers. I will go down with all my integrity if one word I said is untrue. VOCE I love you. You have not let me down once. My bill is NEVER over $200. You have the kindest and most uniquely qualified personal service personell and I think you rival Jet Blue for customer satisfaction and reliability. You don't have any contracts, but I would gladly sign a 10 year contract if you would promise me the same level of service throught the term. No joke, you are great. Thanks for everything!
Sorry everyone, I am going to have to disagree. I just left Voce after finding their services impersonal and quality of calls mediocre. Not to say that their programs aren't for everyone, but I was looking for something more personalized and reliable. I just bought an iPhone, which is amazing.

Never heard of Red Butler but did a little research and they seem to be making their members very pleased. Check out one of their responses this member posted on his website:

I'm signing up for voce tomorrow I get my new Treo 680 too. They are delivering it to my house personally after setting it up and transfering all my data. I never heard of a carrier doing that.

My sprint bill, with insurnace, txt msging, data, vision, business connect was pushing $180 and I ALWAYS had to buy more minutes (over 2000). Past 5 years a dozen or more bills over $300. One up to $1200.

How am I losing out here? I don't like my phone I replace it. I like it great. I don't even plan on using the concierge at all, like I'm famous or something? But the free, unlimited 411! Now you're talking some great hands/dialing free calling, and I'll be using that for anything just to keep my eyes on the road.

No contracts, but there is the initial $500. I tried with both Sprint (i830w) and with Verizon (xv6700), both were over $500 once all was collected and neither phone did what was promised, and the carriers gave me the worst time resolving the issues and taking back their phones.

I look forward to good service. I look forward to no contracts. I look forward to never being surprised by my phone bill. I look forward to talking as long and as often as I can to all the cool people in my life. I look forward to VOCE. and who knows... maybe they'll come greet me at the airport as they said they would up to 5 times a year. You know, for those red eye flights, may be nice to not be alone in a new city, someone to help. Who couldn't use help at an airport, but then again it seems to dolce-n-gabanna to be escorted anywhere...

I hope they don't disappoint and make me eat this post... wish me luck.

Goodbye sprint/verizon/tmobile/cingular, all the same tasting campbell's soup but with different labels. I'm eating lobster from now on...

Hey gang, I've seen RB's posts too but it doesn't look fake to me. There are a bunch of comments from members across the web on different sites all sounding pretty pleased. I think the price might be a little high too. As for VOCE I'm with marco, they're ridiculously priced and using old phone models. I'd rather stick with my plan as is and even if I went over the minutes it'd be cheaper than dishing out the 400 a month for an old phone.

Ok, 1st -- i agree -- have seen this red butler comments before, and i know about them, it is expensive as can be. $36.95/month is for 15 request (only) a month, that would last me a few days. for 100 request their fee is over $170/month! EXPENSIVE! at least with VOCE ($200/month) you get unlimited requests, unlmited phone service nationwide...etc! much better deal!

In regards to VOCE, their phone are absolutely nothing special, they currently offer the PALM 650! yes, the "ancient" 650, not the newest models 680 or 750! the unatractive motorola Pebble, D&G Razr (so last season), not very "in" nor exclusive as they claim, however their service and features, i like. I travel a great deal and use my phone a lot. I currently use Cingular (with blackberry) and my monthly service is well over $300/month with less services -- i think it might be a good idea for someone who would use the features and unlimited calling plan, the only question is would voce make any money having me as a clent?

check our their website www.voce.com

Hey everyone,

Voce is no good, sorry. Bottom line, you are stuck with the phone they choose, unlimited minutes you are paying through the nose for and will most probably never use and a personal assistant that works at the same call center that answers your 411 calls.

I'd rather use my own phone, select a realistic phone plan and only pay $36.95 a month to be a member of a professional concierge company like Red Butler (http://www.RedButler.com) of which I am currently a member. They are also 24/7, travel wherever I go and I can submit requests over the phone, online or even by email. It just ticks me off to see companies like Voce try to stick it to consumers who don't know better.
