Almost Half of All Gamers in the U.K. are Female

In Electronic Gaming Monthly’s recent April issue, they have an interesting piece on the different gaming trends and tastes that vary from country to country. When discussing the United Kingdom’s gaming trends, they mention that according to research from Some Group, a London-based consumer-analysis group, almost half of all gamers in the U.K. are female. We’re a little bit surprised by this figure, but if anything, it’s just another reason to love the British other than for their lovely accents.
