Sansa Express Shuffle Killer is Out and It Rocks
April 26, 2007
We mentioned the super cool and affordable Sansa Express Shuffle Killer a while back. The 1.1 ounce 1Gb mp3 player with an OLED screen, a translucent surface and an FM radio is not only sleek, it apparently sounds great as well. $59.99 for all of those features make the screen-less $79.99 iPod shuffle look pathetic in comparison. PC Magazine has reviewed the Sansa Express and has made it an Editor’s Choice. Now excuse me, while I go and list my Shuffle on eBay.
GeekMan to the Rescue
April 26, 2007
It’s a bird, it’s a plane…. No, it’s not Superman, it’s Geek Man to your rescue. Spyware got you down? GeekMan is here to save you. His super powers include the ability to author code and battle “tech holy wars” (Apple VS PC perhaps?). Armed with geeky classes, a PDA that magnetically attaches to his waist, a laptop, a coffee mug and a wrist watch, he’ll be ready to take on anything you throw at him. GeekMan retails for $13.99. And yes, we’re thinking it too… what, no Geek Woman!?

Scrolling LED Badges, belts and tags are nothing new, but a Scrolling LED Name Badge that is USB Scrolling LED name badge is something different. The USB Scrolling LED Name Badge III has an 8 message storage capacity as well as 5 scrolling modes with a flash effect. The included software makes it easy to send messages to the badges via an infrared transmitter located on the USB cable that also comes with the package. Blow-Up Glitter Lamp Produces Light Shows
April 26, 2007
This product is kind of over-kill, but still there is something for everyone. Remember those blow-up chairs that were everywhere a while back? Well now there is a blow-up lamp called Blowlite. But wait, it gets better - the lamp is covered in glitter, and it also produces a colorful light show. Now that is totally overkill. The Blowlite lamp retails for $20.
USB 2.0 Rotates Hub and Card Reader Combo
April 25, 2007
The USB 2.0 Rotates Hub is one super smart little hub. It has 3 ports which each rotate 90 degrees. I have a large USB key/ mini hard drive and once I place it in to a USB port, its big size doesn’t leave room for me to plug in other USB devices in to the empty ports near by, thus rotatable ports would be very helpful for me at least. The hub also features a card reader with support for most popular card formats, and that certainly kills two birds with one stone. This USB hub would totally make a great laptop accessory. It retails for $17.99.

Celicase Carries your Gadgets for When a Purse or Wallet Just Can’t Cut It
April 25, 2007
The Celi case has been designed to be an alternative to carrying around just a wallet or a purse at times when you just want to grab your gadget and some money and go. I can totally relate to that, since I often don’t want to carry around a bag just for my wallet and cell phone. The cases are hand made with genuine Turkish leather and they have room for a gadget and 2 slots for credit cards. The Celi is also very versatile, it can be worn with a shoulder strap, it can be attached to a belt, or you could just carry it around in your hands. As for color choices, Celi certainly has that area covered. They have everything from pink to Croco Black. The cases retail from $60 to $65.

The LightCap retails for $24.95.

Mango Tango Fashionably Classy Laptop Bags
April 24, 2007
Mango Tango has a series of laptop bags that don’t really look like a laptop bag at all. They have several designs to choose from ranging from a pink canvas stripe to a coffee faux seude to a leopard print canvas bag. It looks like these bags would make a good mother’s day present that won’t break the bank. Prices range between $39.99 and $59.99.
Music Cocoon Tubular iPod Dock
April 24, 2007
Yeh, we know that you’re super sick of ipod docks at this point, but you have to give the Music Cocoon MC4 credit for its original aesthetic. The Music Cocoon has an amplifier and features hi-resolution pure tube sound via actual tubes. The result is an iPod dock with a retro look and great sound quality. And like the story goes with most other iPod docks, you can connect it to other audio sources via a 3.5mm jack.
Samsung i70 DigiCam Doubles as a PMP and is Available in Pink
April 23, 2007
Not content to design a camera that just works as a camera, Samsung had assigned the i70 to work as a portable media player as well. As a camera it features 7.2 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, a 3″ Wide TFT LCD, and a MPEG-4 movie mode capable of recording up to 640×480 at 15 fps, and it also sports some neat special effects filters and masks. Nothing extraordinary here, but then there is the fact that it also works as a text viewer, a voice recorder, an MP3 player with SRS WOW HD and it has a neat flash based GUI. And on top of all of that, gadget fashionistas will appreciate that the i70 comes with unique classic styled Victorian patterns available in 4 colors including pink, gold, black and silver.

MailSting brings together all the free web services you’ve grown used to having under one roof - free email, free online storage, SMS alerts, online imaging, and several other features. But the coolest feature by far is their free Anonymous SMS feature which allows you to send text messages from their web site to any mobile with your choice of the sender’s name. Now what could we use that for? (Source: Stuff Magazine, May ‘07)
sConnector Cordless USB Connector for the iPod Shuffle
April 23, 2007
We’ve seen a couple of cordless USB connectors for the iPod Shuffle, but the sConnector is by far the sleekest. The sConnector has a stylish protection cap that is rotatable and detachable which protects the main body from from any damages. And of course, it will sync and charge your ipod. Unfortunately there is no word on pricing and availability yet.
Commodore PCs are Back and Better Than Ever
April 22, 2007
Many of us are too young to even remember the Commodore PC, others have really fond memories of it. After a 20 year sabbatical or so, Commore is back. This time around they’re promising some screaming gaming machines. Specs like Nvidia 8800 Graphics cards and Core 2 Extreme processors certainly do look promising, and we especially like the interchangeable casing panels which can be personalized with your choice of art from a LARGE selection of choices the likes we have never seen for a desktop. On top of that they are paying homage to their history by preloading their PCs with an emulator that plays more than 50 classic Commodore 64 games. And of course, this goes with out saying but don’t expect these beauties to come cheap.
