Acers Mac Mini Competitor, the AcerPower 1000While it’s not quite as diminutively small as the Mac Mini, or quite as stylish, the AcerPower 1000 seems to be Acer’s answer to the Mac Mini. Measuring 60(h) x 250(w) x 200 (D) mm and labeled as the “3 liters mini PC”, the AcerPower 1000 is powered by AMD processors and has support for up to 2GB of ram and 400GB in hard drive space. Pricing is pretty affordable at $479.99 for a config with a 2.4GHZ processor, 512mb of ram, an 80GB hard drive and a DVD burner, but still we think we’ll stick with the much cuter Mac Mini.
