Just crack the top with a spoon, add water and watch as the little plant inside sprouts. Eight types of egglings are available including four herbs – basil, italian parsley, mint, thyme and four flowers chrysanthemum, lobelia, phlox, petunia. After about 5 months, the egglings can be planted directly in to soil. Egglings retail for $9.95 and are a product of Japanese origin, no surprise there.
