Actually Idias, what i do is use it under “AUX1″and not “iPod1″ then i can listen to my iPhone and use my iPhone or iPod to control the songs I want to hear.

It does what it says. I have a Yukon 2005 with XM activated. I did not lose any functionality with the In-Deck CD changer or XM, but my wife hated the fact that the navigation with the knobs was not intuitive at all. It’s cumbersome and not very easy to use. And you also lose the ability to use the iPod controlls itself.

Regardless of what you ignorant people say FM TRANSMITTERS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD

If you think you have a better way of connecting your iPod or iPhone and getting CD Quality by all means share that info with us.

But as far as i can tell you i used many FM transmitter and nothing, i mean NOTHING compares to the quality of this product.

Not only does it transmit your audio in CD quality i even use internet radio to listen to anything i want.

The only draw back is it doesn’t charges the 3G iPhone only the first gen Edge iPhone gets that luxury, till they come out with an updated version.

I also use a FM transmitter and the sound is great and there no such a problem of finding a frequence spot.
There is also a big advantage using the FM transmitter instead of the wired version, that the transmitter is portable, like the iPod, and you can plug it in and use it from car to car. I can listen my iPod in my car or my wife’s or any car I get into.

I have used an FM transmitter for a while now and I think it works great. Perhaps it’s easier here in Belgium to find an available frequency to set it to. The sound quality is also great.
