Do Women Have a Worse E-mail Addiction Problem Than Men?

email0603 Do Women Have a Worse E-mail Addiction Problem Than Men?Ever hear a woman complain about how her man checks his crackberry at inappropriate times like dinner? Switched set out to settle the score with a survey and determine just who is more addicted to email - women or men. Some of the results were kind of surprising. For example, they determined that men have gone longer than women without checking their e-mail. However, other results of the survey weren’t surprising at all. For example “Women are more likely than men to send thank you notes and birthday wishes via both e-mail and regular mail (31 percent vs. 20 percent), while men are more likely to send them only via regular mail (33 percent vs. 22 percent).” - No surprise there. Hmmph.
Overall, it was a pretty close tie, but ultimately men proved to be the most addicted to email. Check out Switched for the rest of the questions and results.
