IOGear’s Wireless Desktop with Antimicrobial Nano Coating for Germaphobes
IOgear’s wireless desktop set comes complete with both a keyboard and mouse covered in a protective Antimicrobial Nano Coating. The coating is made up of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) and Silver (Ag) nano-particle compound and uses “two mechanisms to deactivate enzymes and proteins of bacteria from surviving on the surface of the product. The compound has been tested and proven effective against various bacteria.” This type of keyboard should be standard in places with public computer terminals like Kinkos or computer labs. Ever sit down to use a keyboard in one of those places and wonder about what kind of dirty hands had used those same peripherals before you? Call us OCD, but we wash our hands after using public computers. IOGear’s Wireless Desktop retails for $59.95.
