cheap linux pc MadTux Knoppix LivePC, the Cheapest Desktop PC Ever?Looking for a stripped down PC that is dirt cheap and you don’t care that it doesn’t run Windows? The MadTux Knoppix LivePC costs just $179 and has Linux running on it. Under the hood is a VIA C3 Samual II 2000 (800MHz) processor with 256MB RAM, and a unique MadTux-developed 1GB (Gigabyte) bootable USB key containing the latest Knoppix 5.0.1 LiveCD. This PC is probaly best suited as an internet station and really nothing much more then that. And for the price, you can’t go wrong. But really if they were asking a penny more we’d recommend buying a more powerful used PC off of eBay.
