Ever sit under a night sky trying to point out the big dipper? Well, we don’t because we’re lucky if ever see star in the night sky out in polluted New York City. But anyway, should you be fortunate enough to get to star gaze, the Meade MySky is a must have piece of equipment to complete the experience. The device is a handheld star finder with a color LCD screen. Point the mySky at a star and will show you a photo, constellation map or film clip that explains what you’re aiming at. The device uses GPS auto alignment which is smart enough to figure out what you’re pointing at. A database of over 30,000 celestial objects are included a long with a 256MB SD card. The mySky retails for around $400, pricey, yes but it so much better than a bad date who can’t even identify the big dipper.
