36613198 PictureBook Pocket Digital Photo Album The PictureBook Pocket Digital Photo Album is designed to be a modern day portable photo album. Sporting a decent 3.5″ TFT LCD screen with a 320 x 234 resolution, the device is small enough to be travel friendly but still has a display that is big enough to be easy on the eyes. Unfortunately, it’s only got 64MB of memory inside, but it is expandable via memory cards. However $200 seems step for a device with such little built-in memory and no video playback capabilities. It does however sport a slideshow feature, and it comes with a nice brown leather flap, but that is hardly enough to woo us.  It’d be smarter to get an Archos 405 that sports the same sized screen, has more memory and features and should retail for around the same $200 when it comes out. Or you could just get a refurbished Archos 604 with 30GB for $175.  Overall, this device should cost $99, not $200, which begs the question – what were they thinking.
