Shocking Autopsy Game Makes Operation Seem Less Disturbing

Shocking Autopsy Game Makes Operation Seem Less DisturbingAs a kid, I was never crazy about the board game, Operation. The idea of playing surgery on a patient just felt somehow disturbing. But in comparison, it is not at all as disturbing as Shocking Autopsy. “The object of the game is to take it in turns to remove as many weapons as possible from the dead gangsters body, without touching the sides of the injury area. If you do touch the sides of the injury area you receive a shock, and your go is over.” I blame the creation of this game on shows like CSI. The Shocking Autopsy game retails for £10.00 .

What I’m waiting for is “Saw: The Game.” Now it’s all about removing body parts without touching the sides. And if you DO touch the sides a guy kidnaps you and chains you to a wall in the lavatory of some abandoned building. But I’m not falling for that “it’s easier to use this hack saw to cut off my own foot than to hack through this chain” gag.
