It’s Guitar Hero Day

It has been awhile since we’ve been this excited about a video game launch (sorry, we don’t play Halo). Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock launched in New York City today and we’re quite excited to get our hands on the latest addtion to the series. What we love so much about Guitar Hero, aside from the great gameplay, is the fact that most types of people enjoy playing it. When it comes to video games, some people prefer first person shooters, some prefer RPGs, and then there is Guitar Hero which everyone takes too. But we digress. Admittedly, the launch today was not that exciting, though we did get to see the gameplay live - not that we’ve haven’t been watching the trailers for months already. We’re just psyched to try out the new tracks from Guns N’ Roses, The Rolling Stones, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam. If you’re heading to Digital Life this weekend, you should be able to play it for yourself. Anyway, it’s been officially declared Guitar hero day in New York City but we think it’s kind of a tease since the game isn’t officially released until October 28th. Why must you do this to us, Activision.
