As much as Wikipedia is an incredibly useful tool, it’s also incredibly easy to corrupt, being that anyone can edit an entry. After all, have you ever considered who is writing what about whom? Here is a great way to filter out the authenticity of some Wikipedia entries. WikiScanner helps you figure out the IP address of the people who have edited an entry, thus allowing you to sort out whether or not the entry is legit or not. The site also has a link to Wired’s list of Salicious edits which is pretty entertaining to keep track of.
