Dancing with the Stars Video Game Coming to the Wii and PS2

I still can’t quite get over what a phenomenon “Dancing with the Stars” has become. It’s one of those guilty pleasures that we watch secretly wishing we were apart of it. And now you can really dance with the stars - well almost. “Dancing with the Stars” the video game is on its way to the PS2 and the Wii. We’re especially excited about the Wii version which will help live out our dancing fantasies. The Wii version uses the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk ” to physically mimic elegant dance moves while at the same time allowing the player to add his or her own personal flair”. However, the PS2 version that takes advantage of the dance pad looks like a good work out as well. The game will be available on October 30th for $49.99 and the $39.99 PS2 version will be compatible with the PS2 Dance Pad. A special limited edition dance pad bundle for the PS2 will be available on November 13th for $49.99, and that is probaly the best value for PS2 gamers.
