Iluv’s New Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player with Touch Sensitive Controls

iluvdvdmp3 Iluvs New Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player with Touch Sensitive ControlsIluv’s previous Portable Multimedia Tablet-Style DVD Player, the z1055BLK, didn’t do so well in the market place. It was a good idea, but the price and the not-so-great screen kept buyers away. Now they have a new upcoming New Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player in the works and it does look pretty promising. The player sports a 8.4″ wide-screen TFT LCD, it has a transparent protective screen, as well as neat light-emitting touch sensitive function keypad controls. The package comes with a carrying pouch, car and adapter, AV cable for outputting video to a TV and a remote control. Overall, this ipod accessory looks pretty slick and useful, but disappointedly it isn’t compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod Classic 80GB, iPod Classic 160GB, or new iPod video Nano. Will it at least work with the iPhone? We can only hope. The Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player is available for preorder at Neiman Marcus for $275 with an expected ship date of October 15th.

[...] First things first: iLuv’s forthcoming Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player won’t play nice with the iPod touch, iPod classic or the new iPod nanos, but if you’re still rockin’ an older flavor, keep on reading. This Neiman Marcus exclusive boasts a fairly sexy black chassis, an 8.4-inch screen, touch-sensitive keypad controls, video out and an integrated dock for (last-generation) dock-connecting iPods. The unit will also handle DVD, VCD and audio / JPEG CDs, and there’s even a rechargeable Li-ion for moments when an AC outlet is just too far away. iLuv’s latest is set to ship later this month for $275, and you can feel free to click on through for another look. Hey…!! Iluv’s New Portable Video MP3 & DVD Player with Touch Sensitive Controls IS compatible with the new ipod nano (3rd G) and iPod classic 6th G(80gigs or 160gigs). You have to buy an adaptor for the new iPod nano(3rd G) but it does work. This is a great product and im very happy with it.

Maryah5..what nano adapter are you referring to? i’d like to give it a try.

Got something to say?
