line6 Pocket POD Lets Musicians Experiment on the GoLine 6’s Pocket POD (we wonder what inspired the name) is a small device packed with 300 custom preset sounds from artists like Maroon 5, P.O.D., 311, and Hoobastank. The device can be used as a practice amp and you can listen directly to it via headphones. Software is also bundled with it so that you can create custom sound effects on your PC. The Pocket POD retails for $180. This isn’t a device for just anyone, but rather someone musically inclined, in which case that kind of person will probaly have a lot of fun with the Pocket POD. Cool gadget! FYI. Line 6 has been using the name POD for his guitar processors long before the iPod existed. ;-)
