South Korea Subway Offers Free PC Stations for Commuters
Everyone knows that South Korea is light years ahead of us when it comes to gadgets, so this tidbit shouldn’t come as a total surprise, yet we are surprised anyway. The Seoul metro system in South Korea has “Digita’ Stations” sprinkled through out of it. Each station consists of a free computer to use to get online. The PC has a memory card reader for uploading photos and there is also a convenient cell phone charging port located in each station. Overall, we don’t know what is more amazing - the fact that they are free to use, or that they aren’t always being vandalized. (Source: Laptop Magazine, October ‘07)
