We have seen a lot of iPod knock-off’s in the past and there still seems to be no end in sight. Target has the Music Mystic MP3 Player which is supposedly geared towards kids and can hold about 1GB worth of songs which comes out to 300. The resemblance is similar to the older iPod mini and Nano generations in regards to the scroll wheel and LCD screen. One major difference however is the Mr. Bo Jangles or what they call “the Little Mystical Man” that dances to the songs on screen as you play them. Odd yes, but I give them kudos for originality – let’s just hope we never see Steve jobs however start dancing across the newer Nano and iPods. I would run screaming. Retailing for $49.99, it includes rechargeable battery with ACC adapter/charger, USB cable and ear bud headphones. Great starter MP3 player for kids and a dirt cheap option for adults with a sense of humor.

I purchased a music mystic mp3 player for christmas 07, and a few months into it, with limited use, the usb cord snapped off…Ive been to meijers, walmart, Target, Radio Shack, and smaller local stores, and noone has the usb cord to replace the original…..That is a hug inconvenience if you cant replace the accessories…
