The Finis SwimP3VT has been designed to handle a harsh underwater environment - someplace that most other MP3 players wouldn’t dare go near. “The SwiMP3 uses bone conduction - the direct transfer of sound vibrations from the cheek bone to the inner ear.” The DAP is also designed to wear with goggles and and snorkeling masks. Unfortunately the SwimP3VT only sports 256MB, which is pretty pathetic by today’s standards. But if you’re looking for something you can splish and splash with, than this is one of the only options out there. The Finis SwimP3VT retail for $179.99.

that’s funny i just received mine (via ebay, from israel of all places) yesterday. after my previous ones stopped working. this morning was the first trial of the new 256 Mb swimp3 and i must say these ones are better.
no more a big and bulky part on the back of your head and the sounds is still good. the new buttons are easier to operate because they stand out a bit and one push and it really pauses (the old one had a habit of not reacting all the time)
it makes swimming for an hour so much easier. really its only 14 or so songs and i’m done
