Honestly, we’re having a hard time making heads or tails of these Designer Emulation Kits. We don’t understand quite their point, and the about page isn’t helping us much either. But regardless, these little kits do look cool. The kits consist of pop out shapes made out of circuit board like material. You slide the pieces together and attach a battery, and viola, you have yourself a little lamp. There are several kits to choose from. For example there is the DEK 5 that has its own lamp shade which creates a diffused light when combined with a 9 volt battery. Each kit retails for $29.99.
